Gordon went with Mike to make some calls to check on getting back into the states with the higher alert and increased security following the Presidents speech Monday night. They also ordered lumber etc that we needed to build the bunk beds. They arrived back around 11:30 and the supplies were to arrive any time.
The workers with our assistance began mixing the concrete for the floor and others laid up blocks for the walls of the septic tank. Our supplies arrived around 1:30 and we began cutting the boards to the proper length for the bunk beds. We quit early so we could get to Mikes house by 5:00 because Gordons wife was to call back with additional info from Brownsville. After getting the call all that they needed was our full name and birthdate for each of us.
Gordon and Keith took Victoria (Mike and Georganns housekeeper) home so that Gordon could look at moving her electric meter onto the front of her new cement fence that her brother Amillo had built for her. Gordon had hooked her electricity up for her after Hurricane Mitch.
When we got back we all went to eat at a Chinese Restaurant in La Ceiba. The food was delicious.
